Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $39.00/hr

Social Media Content and Engagement Manager

  • WFH/Remote role
  • Target pay rate- $35-$39/hr DOE
  • Monday- Friday- traditional business hours
  • Long-term contract with high potential to extend and convert to FTE

Our client, a world-renowned Global CPG company, is seeking a Social Media expert to join their Global Brand Team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a household name brand and post and reply as the brand.

As a Social Media Content & Engagement Manager, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and collaborate with a diverse, innovative team. Your mission will be to build awareness, affinity, and engagement for our consumer-focused brand across multiple social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and publish original, on-brand content (images, short-form videos, captions) 3–5 times per week across owned social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Engage with followers by responding to questions, comments, and mentions, maintaining a consistent and authentic brand voice
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including R&D and creative/agency teams, to produce compelling, trend-forward assets
  • Monitor social and cultural trends; identify and present relevant opportunities for brand participation to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Analyze social media KPIs and audience engagement using platform-native tools and analytics software; adjust content and strategies based on insights
  • Support paid social campaigns by coordinating with internal teams and contributing to strategy development
  • Ensure social content meets brand quality standards and reflects consumer needs and feedback

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years managing and posting across major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest; others a plus)
  • Proven experience creating and editing social-first content, including short-form video
  • Deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience working with consumer brands, ideally within the CPG industry
  • Familiarity with mass retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel marketing
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to transform insights into actionable plans
  • A passion for consumer wellbeing, air quality, or sustainability topics
