Qualifications

Summary:

As the Content Creation and Social Media Manager at Pressed Floral, you will take ownership of all content strategy and social media efforts, overseeing a variety of initiatives aimed at enhancing our brand presence, driving engagement, and attracting new audiences. This is a full-time role that demands strong initiative, strategic thinking, and content management expertise. You will work closely with the marketing team to craft compelling campaigns, analyze performance, and lead content creation to elevate the brand’s digital presence.

This role requires working in-office out of our Orem, UT location, though there are opportunities for hybrid work.

Responsibilities include:

Strategic Oversight & Analytics

• Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of content strategies across all social media platforms, ensuring they align with Pressed Floral’s business objectives and overall marketing goals.
• Regularly analyze social media and content performance using analytics tools to measure engagement, track trends, and make data-driven adjustments.
• Lead the implementation of Google review strategies for clients, encouraging social media mentions and engagement for Pressed Floral.
• Monitor emerging social media trends and incorporate them into the strategy to stay relevant and competitive.
• Oversee the content calendar to ensure all content is planned, developed, and posted in alignment with target goals, seasonal trends, and key product launches.

Content Creation

• Lead the creation and curation of compelling content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube Shorts.
• Oversee the production of photos and videos for social media, including the coordination of photoshoots, video shoots, and other content creation efforts.
• Ensure all content is of high quality, aligns with the brand voice, and is tailored to engage the target audience.
• Manage and supervise content quality during photoshoots, ensuring content meets Pressed Floral’s brand standards.

Photoshoot & Project Management

• Take full ownership of scheduling, coordinating, and managing photoshoots for content creation.
• Manage the logistics of booking photographers, videographers, models, set designers, and other key personnel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver photoshoot content on time and in line with the content strategy.
• Ensure content from photoshoots aligns with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and marketing initiatives.

Social Media & Community Engagement

• Oversee social media accounts, ensuring content is posted within optimal engagement windows.
• Respond to audience interactions and comments in a timely manner, fostering community engagement and developing relationships with followers.
• Manage and delegate direct message responses across all platforms, maintaining a 24-hour response time, including weekends, to ensure ongoing communication with followers.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media interactions and communications.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies for new product launches and campaigns.
• Assist in collaborating with external teams and partners to create content that enhances brand initiatives.
• Ensure content is optimized for each platform and serves specific marketing objectives such as retention and engagement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in content creation, social media marketing, and digital marketing including platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Youtube.
• Strong background in photography, videography, and editing.
• Solid understanding of social media platforms and content optimization.
• Ability to develop and execute data-driven content strategies.
• Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Creative thinking and innovative approach to social media content.
• Ability to adapt to changing trends in the digital space and market demands.

Preferred Qualifications

• Several years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, with a history of increasing responsibilities.
• Experience in managing a team or guiding content creators in best practices.
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies.
• Strong understanding of the latest trends and tools in social media marketing.
