Descrizione del lavoro

Social Media Manager

You’re a social marketer who understands that strong social programs are built on more than publishing content. As the Social Media Manager, you’ll help lead day-to-day organic social strategy, content development, community building, and reporting for multiple clients.

You’ll bring a blend of strategic thinking and creative execution to the role, with strong copywriting skills and the ability to develop and adapt content for social platforms. You’ll use platform expertise, cultural awareness, thoughtful brand representation, and sound judgment to keep clients relevant, grow meaningful audiences, and drive measurable results.

You’ll collaborate closely with media, PR, creative, and account teams to bring integrated, insight-driven social programs to life.

Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day organic social strategy for multiple clients, from content planning and publishing through community management, reporting, and optimization.
  • Develop thoughtful content calendars and social recommendations that align with client goals, audience needs, brand voice, cultural moments, and broader campaign strategies.
  • Write, edit, and refine social copy that is clear, engaging, platform-appropriate, and true to each client’s voice.
  • Partner with creative teams and clients to develop social-first content, including short-form video, Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels, and other platform-native formats.
  • Use tools such as Canva to create or adapt social content.
  • Build and nurture online communities by monitoring conversations, responding to audiences, representing brands with care and judgment, and identifying opportunities to deepen engagement.
  • Manage day-to-day social publishing and ensure content is accurate, timely, on-brand, and aligned with platform best practices.
  • Partner with media, PR, creative, and account teams to ensure social efforts are integrated into larger brand and campaign strategies.
  • Working knowledge of paid social platforms and principles, including how boosting and paid amplification can support an organic social strategy. Hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Analyze organic performance, community feedback, and social listening signals to deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current on platform updates, cultural trends, social best practices, and emerging content formats to keep client strategies fresh and effective.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the changing needs of the agency.
Requirements
  • 2 - 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a strong foundation in organic social strategy and content development. Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across platforms, audiences, and brand voices.
  • Experience building and managing online communities, including responding to audiences, navigating sensitive conversations, and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Experience creating or adapting social content, including short-form video and platform-native formats.
  • Experience using Canva and a comfort working with basic design tools and templates.
  • Working knowledge of paid social platforms and principles, including how boosting and paid amplification can support an organic social strategy. Hands-on experience is a plus, but paid social ownership is not the primary focus of this role.
  • Proficiency with social media tools such as Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, and other publishing, listening, or reporting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social analytics and reporting, with the ability to connect performance data, audience behavior, and community insights to clear recommendations.
  • Experience across both B2B and B2C, with the agility to shift tone, tactics, and community approach to meet different audience needs.
  • Client-facing experience, with strong communication skills and the confidence to present social recommendations, insights, and results.
