The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx seek a Social Media & Graphic Associate to craft visually compelling, social-first content across our digital platforms. You will support the social media team by capturing content on game days and executing the organization’s social strategies on a game-by-game basis.
This seasonal, part-time role lasts through the regular NBA season and potential playoffs. Availability is for all home and away games with some office hours required.

This Social Media & Graphic Associate will play a role in creating visually compelling, social-first content that brings the brand to life across Timberwolves digital platforms. In addition, this person will also assist the Timberwolves' social media team with capturing content on gamedays to implement the organization’s social media strategies and objectives, on a game-to-game basis. This will be a seasonal part-time position to last through the regular NBA season and potential playoffs.

This job operates in a professional office environment. Game night shifts are usually 4 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for a 7:00pm CT tip-off. Staff may be asked to work external events including but not limited to: player or community appearances, or charity and networking events. Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes bleachers/steps.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment. Staff will occasionally ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff will frequently move boxes of merchandise and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
