RethinkFirst is seeking a Social Media Specialist to execute organic social media programs across RethinkBH, RethinkCare, RethinkEd, and RethinkFirst. This role translates company priorities into clear, engaging content; manages day-to-day publishing and community activity; and uses performance insights to strengthen future work.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer who adapts voice for different audiences and platforms, and collaborates with design, content partners, and senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience supporting organic social media for a company, agency, or mission-driven organization.
• Strong writing and editing skills with work samples demonstrating voice adaptation across audiences and channels.
• Hands-on experience with major social platforms and scheduling/listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, content partners, subject-matter experts, and senior stakeholders in a remote environment.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, education technology, HR tech, or B2B software.
• Experience developing short-form video concepts or repurposing long-form content.
• Familiarity with accessibility, privacy, and brand-review considerations for social content.

Responsibilities

• Draft platform-appropriate copy, briefs, executive posts, and short-form content across multiple business lines.
• Publish and schedule approved content, maintain accurate links and tagging, and perform final quality checks before posting.
• Partner with Creative/Brand, Content, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and leaders to translate campaign plans into organic social content.
• Respond to issues promptly while following brand, privacy, and escalation guidelines.
• Track channel and content performance, derive insights, and adjust topics, formats, cadence, and distribution.
• Stay current on platform changes and audience behavior; test new approaches that support brand and goals.
• Maintain organized content, approvals, and reporting records for stakeholders.
