Job summary

RiseMe seeks a part-time social media coordinator to join the Marketing and Communications team. You will develop, post, and curate content across platforms, maintain a unified brand voice, and engage audiences including prospective students and their families, current students, faculty, staff, alumni, and donors.

• Minimum of three years of work experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar position OR equivalent experience.
• Expert at targeted communications and advertising campaigns across various media platforms.
• Demonstrates deep understanding of SEO/AEO, web traffic metrics and social media best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, post, and curate engaging content for College's social media platforms.
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• Attend events and produce live social media content.
• Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
• Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
• Assess and adjust social media content, strategy, and timing to improve metrics and optimize performance.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to share college social media content on community and partner social media sites.
• Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
• Identify new and emerging social media platforms and tools; adopting those that will be advantageous to the college.
• Provide strategic and operational support for departmental and College-related social media accounts, ensuring consistent messaging, engagement, and brand alignment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The social media coordinator will work with the Marketing and Communications team to execute a results-driven social media strategy. The coordinator will work with team members to create a positive and consistent voice on multiple platforms, effectively reaching target audiences, including prospective students and their families, current students, faculty and staff, alumni, and prospective donors.

This is a part-time, hourly, position.

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation:

Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.
