Job summary

The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy is seeking a Digital Communications Assistant to manage social media content, campaigns, and storytelling across digital and print channels. You will contribute to engaging students and campus audiences, collaborating with the Manager of Communications to promote the School of Pharmacy’s initiatives.

You will write, capture photos and video, and help plan content that resonates with peers while supporting marketing strategies and brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Majoring in art, marketing, design, digital media, journalism, or related field as stated in application materials.
  • Experience with social media as demonstrated through coursework or previous work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Write, develop, and brainstorm social media content for the School of Pharmacy.
  • Create, manage, and evaluate social media campaigns across platforms.
  • Design on-brand graphics and curate content highlighting School of Pharmacy departments, programs, students, faculty, staff, and events.
  • Assist with community management, social media strategy, analytics, and reporting.
  • Assist with development of blog posts, website content, newsletters, and feature stories.
