Job description

Gorilla LED Trucks (Adriana's Insurance sister company) is seeking a full-cycle content creator expert who is an outside-the-box thinker, thrives in creating social media content that is attention-grabbing and drives engagement. We are looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator to oversee our company's social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. The role involves creating, editing, writing, and executing content from start to finish, as well as posting, managing, and engaging on social media. The primary focus will be filming our branded trucks.

Responsibilities:

1. Communicate and delegate tasks effectively with marketing teams
2. Analyze engagement data and identify trends in customer interactions
3. Plan and create digital campaigns to build and engage an online community
4. Develop original content that is engaging and converts viewers to customers
5. Shoot, edit, and publish all image and video ads
6. Manage social media accounts actively, including daily postings and content calendar creation
7. Stay updated with current trends and adapt content accordingly
8. Understand platform-specific requirements such as size, stories, and optimal posting times
9. Create and implement social media strategies
10. Use supporting apps like CapCut, Canva, and Photoshoot effectively
11. Proficiently write in English and Spanish for captions, titles, descriptions, and hashtags
12. Develop and execute video features for social media
13. Cover events in real-time, including shooting, editing, and publishing content
14. Assist other departments as needed
15. Complete projects within budget and deadlines

Requirements:

1. Full-time, in-house position in Irvine, available weekdays and weekends
2. At least 2 years of experience in social media content creation
3. Bilingual in Spanish is required
4. Creative, with original thinking and storytelling skills
5. Experience shooting videos with an iPhone
6. Strong organizational, planning, and strategizing skills
7. Active on social media and aware of current trends
8. Portfolio of previous content creation projects
9. Vision for company growth through social media presence
