Job summary

flaconi in Berlin is seeking a Social Media Specialist to monitor and moderate user conversations across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube. You will engage with the community, drive conversations, and help grow brand visibility.

With 2+ years in community management or social media marketing, you will craft compelling copy in German and English, and analyze sentiment and trends to inform strategy. Hybrid work with office benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Journalism or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in community management or social media marketing.
• Excellent copywriting skills and verbal creativity.
• Fluent in German and English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and moderate user communication on all social media profiles (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube).
• Proactively engage with the community, initiate conversations and respond to feedback.
• Help increase user engagement as part of the company strategy.
• Interact with other profiles, brands and influencers to boost brand visibility.
• Perform social listening, track brand mentions and identify key opinion leaders.
• Identify service-related requests and coordinate with customer care.
• Collaborate across social media marketing and other departments.
• Measure activities and produce reports (sentiment analysis, competitor analysis).

Your Role

• You permanently monitor and moderate the user communication on all social media profiles of flaconi on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube
• You actively seek dialog with the community, initiate conversations and respond to user feedback
• You contribute to increasing user engagement as part of the overall company strategy
• You interact with other social media profiles of users, brands and influencers to increase brand visibility
• You are responsible for the social media listening, you track brand mentions and identify key opinion leaders as well as key topics
• You contribute to customer satisfaction by identifying service-related requests and coordinating with our customer care team
• You are in permanent exchange with the other areas of social media marketing and with various departments
• You regularly measure your activities, create reportings such as sentiment analysis or competitor analysis and present them internally

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the fields of Communication, Public Relations, Media, Journalism or a similar field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in community management or social media marketing
• In-depth knowledge of all common social media platforms, in particular the different user habits and linguistic conventions
• Excellent copywriting skills and verbal creativity
• Familiar with the language, attitudes and expectations of Gen Z and Millennial users
• Experienced in using social media management tools
• Solution-oriented thinking and ability to react quickly
• You have a high level of resilience and keep calm even in critical situations
• You have a passion for beauty and keep up to date with the current trends in the social media industry
• Familiar with common social media KPIs
• Excellent German and English language skills, coupled with strong communication skills
