The Giddy Group is looking for a Social Media Community Manager to join their team on a project basis.
We’re the Giddy Group, a social media agency for environmental organisations, sustainable businesses, and outdoor brands. We’ve been hired by an incredible organisation to run their social channels in 2025, and we’re seeking social media talent to help build their social media community and reach gen-z and millennial audiences. The selected applicant will work on The Giddy Group team for this particular client as a Social Media Community Manager. There is the opportunity to take on more freelance/contract work through the agency, if interested!
The ideal candidate is passionate about climate action, forestry, and land conservation—and you practically live on social media. You know how to use social media and each platform’s capabilities to build an engaged online community to reach audiences on Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube and TikTok.
To apply for this position, please fill in the application form. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged!
If you do not have experience in forestry, climate science, or land conservation, we kindly request that you refrain from applying.
We will also be hiring a social media manager for this role. If you feel that you fit the role of both a social media manager and community manager, please say so in the additional comments in the application form. The social media manager position will be posted in December.
We look forward to reviewing your applications!
