Job summary

Wakefield Pork, Inc. seeks a communications intern to support marketing initiatives and participate in leadership activities and state events. You will help create and implement social media campaigns, track engagement, and work with teams to align messaging with the brand.

Responsibilities include responding to posts, attending events, and assisting with job fairs and community gatherings, while housing is provided for interns relocating to the area.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled at a 2- or 4-year college or university.
• Knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
• Excellent internet research skills.
• High attention to detail, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing social media strategies and campaigns.
• Collaborate with other teams, to align social media campaigns and strategies.
• Track analytics for social media campaigns and engagement to identify high performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
• Assist in developing new strategies for increasing engagement.
• Assist in the responses of social media campaigns and posts through messaging, DMs, and other communication forms.
• Ensure compliance of all social media activity with the company culture and brand.
• Assist/attend organizing of events and campaigns, such as job fairs and community events sponsored by the company.
