About the Role

We're looking for a creative, outgoing, and highly organized Social Media, Collaborations & Studio Assistant who can wear multiple hats.

This isn't a traditional social media management role. We already have a team managing our social media calendar and posting. We're looking for someone who can bring our brand to life through content creation, community connections, influencer collaborations, and day-to-day studio support.

You'll be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, excited to meet new people, and happy to jump between shooting content, coordinating collaborations, helping customers, and keeping the studio running smoothly.

This is a part-time, in-person position starting at three days per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

What You'll Do

Content Creation & Social Media

• Shoot engaging short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social channels.
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments in the studio, new arrivals, styling videos, packing orders, and everyday brand life.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera yourself, modeling pieces, creating styling videos, and sharing your personality.
• Work closely with the founder and team to capture spontaneous and planned content.
• Help create UGC-style content for organic social media and paid advertising.
• Bring fresh ideas, trends, hooks, and creative concepts to the team.
• Organize and share content with our existing social media team for editing and posting.

PR, Influencer & Collaborations

• Discover creators, influencers, stylists, and interesting people who align with the Rujuta Sheth brand.
• Research and identify potential collaborators, especially those based in New York City.
• Reach out to creators via Instagram DMs and email to initiate collaborations.
• Coordinate gifting, product seeding, and content partnerships.
• Invite local creators to our studio for fittings, styling sessions, and content shoots.
• Help shoot photos and videos featuring collaborators wearing our pieces.
• Track outreach, follow-ups, gifting, and collaboration results.
• Support PR opportunities, brand events, and community initiatives.

Studio & Customer Support

• Help with day-to-day studio organization, sample management, and preparing pieces for shoots and collaborations.
• Assist with occasional customer service inquiries, including product questions, orders, and returns.
• Help coordinate local appointments, creator visits, and studio activities.
• Provide hands-on support during photoshoots, events, and product launches.
• Jump in wherever needed to keep the studio running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• A genuine interest in fashion, social media, and content creation.
• Experience shooting short-form vertical video using an iPhone or similar device.
• Comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera.
• Outgoing, personable, and confident reaching out to new people.
• A strong eye for aesthetics, styling, and visual storytelling.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
• Able to work independently and take initiative without needing constant direction.
• Available to work in person in New York City three days per week.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with a fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brand.
• Familiarity with influencer gifting, PR outreach, or brand partnerships.
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut or similar tools.
• Experience with Shopify or ecommerce customer service.
• An existing network of NYC-based creators, stylists, or influencers.

What It’s Like Working With Us

We're a small team, and no two days look exactly the same. One day you might be filming styling content in the studio, the next coordinating a shoot with a local creator, helping prepare for a launch, or assisting a customer.

We're looking for someone who is resourceful, creative, hands-on, and genuinely excited about growing with an independent fashion brand.

Compensation & Schedule

• $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
• Part-time, two- three days per week.
• In-person at our New York City studio.
