Avenue Z is seeking a Social Media Buyer with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing Paid Media team. This is a dynamic, mid-level role for a marketer who is comfortable managing multi-channel paid social campaigns and is ready to take on increased strategic ownership.

As a Social Media Buyer, you will independently manage campaigns from planning through execution and reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outstanding results for clients across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and optimize full-funnel paid social campaigns across platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and other emerging channels.
  • Develop targeting strategies based on data insights and audience research to reach the right customer segments and drive results across awareness, engagement, and conversion goals.
  • Lead performance analysis using tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Shopify, Looker Studio and Google Analytics to uncover trends and provide proactive campaign optimizations and insights.
  • Partner with creative teams to concept and develop ad content that aligns with brand messaging and performance objectives, offering input grounded in platform-specific best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with platform innovations, policy changes, and algorithm shifts to keep campaigns effective and competitive.
  • Create and present campaign reports that include strategic insights, performance data, and optimization recommendations to both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute ideas for innovative, data-backed campaign strategies.
  • Help manage campaign budgets, pacing, and projections to ensure efficient media spend and alignment with client goals.
  • Support junior team members and share knowledge to elevate overall team capability.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience managing paid social campaigns in an agency or in-house environment, with a clear track record of campaign ownership and optimization.
  • Deep understanding of the paid social landscape and proficiency in tools such as Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and/or TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret performance trends, and act on insights to improve KPIs.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and UTM parameters for tracking and attribution.
  • Strong understanding of creative best practices and how to collaborate with designers and content producers to create high-performing ads.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with client-facing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Teamwork).
  • Experience with creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma) is a plus.
Compensation
  • Job Type: Full-time Employee
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM EST
  • Employees within an hour of our offices must work in-office three days a week.
