Job summary

Simon & Schuster, based in New York, seeks a Manager, Social Media & Audience Growth to grow our audiences by creating compelling social-first content, identifying platform opportunities, and driving books into cultural conversations.

Reporting to the VP, Content Marketing & Brand Development, you will lead strategy and execution for TikTok, TikTok Shop, and YouTube while shaping how readers discover our books across emerging platforms.

Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, audience development, or content strategy.
Deep expertise across TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest.
Experience using social publishing, analytics, and project management platforms.
A love of books and enthusiasm for helping readers discover new authors and stories.

Responsibilities

Develop platform strategy and daily programming across TikTok and YouTube.
Create and publish engaging social-first content.
Grow audience through editorial strategy and innovative storytelling.
Lead social commerce initiatives across TikTok, YouTube Shopping, and Meta platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns and measure impact.
