Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a Manager of Social Media & Audience Growth to drive social-first content and growth across TikTok, TikTok Shop, and YouTube. The role reports to the VP of Content Marketing & Brand Development and collaborates with marketing, publicity, authors, and creators to bring books into cultural conversations.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, audience development, or content strategy for a consumer-facing brand, publisher, media company, or agency.
• Deep expertise across TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms.
• Experience developing and executing social-first content strategies.
• Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, photography, and short-form video production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain editorial calendars across platforms.
• Write, edit, publish, and optimize daily social content.
• Manage publishing workflows using Sprout Social, Airtable, and native tools.
• Monitor platform performance and refine programming based on audience insights.
• Collaborate with marketers, publicists, authors, and creators to amplify campaigns.
