Advocate Health is offering a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern position to support community engagement, stakeholder relations, and CSR initiatives. The role provides hands-on experience in program development, event planning, and impact reporting.

The internship runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027. It is a remote, work-from-home position with eligibility for residents in certain states, including TX. Compensation is $21 per hour for up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field with junior or senior standing.
• No licensure or registration required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
• Help track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives.
• Conduct research on social issues, community needs, and best practices.
• Assist with grant applications, sponsorship requests, and donation tracking.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives.
• Gain experience in community engagement and CSR strategy.
