Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to help build relationships with local communities and advance our social responsibility efforts. You will gain hands-on experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting.

The role offers remote work (for eligible states) and a May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027 internship window with up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri during business hours, in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
• Track and report social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal and external communications related to initiatives.
• Research social issues, community needs, and best practices.
