Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a passionate Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to support building relationships with local communities and advancing our organizational and social responsibility initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting.

The role is remote (work from home) for residents in specified states, runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field with junior or senior standing.
GPA of at least 2.5.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
Help track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives.
Develop skills in event planning, stakeholder communication, and impact reporting.
