Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to help build relationships with local communities and advance our social responsibility efforts. You will gain hands-on experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with junior or senior status.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Ability to work in teams and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute community outreach programs and volunteer events.
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic groups.
• Track social impact metrics and report outcomes.
• Assist with internal/external communications for initiatives.
• Research social issues and community needs.
• Support grant applications and sponsorship requests.
• Participate in team meetings and share ideas.
• Develop CSR skills in events and stakeholder communications.
• Understand business role in driving social change.
