Job summary

GOAL High School is seeking a Social Emotional Generalist to support student social-emotional growth and collaboration with MTSS, Family Support, and community resources. This role links child-serving agencies to school families, aiming to improve academic, emotional, and behavioral outcomes.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred associates or Praxis/WorkKeys, and a willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; potential for further education as listed.
• Associate degree or equivalent, Praxis or WorkKeys required by the district.
• Two years of college coursework or higher to support instructional needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, respond, and maintain social emotional referrals via referrals forms.
• Maintain a focused caseload of identified high-risk students needing extra support.
• Provide on-site support and collaborate with MTSS, Family Support, and Community Resource processes.
• Maintain professional involvement in crisis response and threat assessment.
• Communicate with staff, students, and parents to deliver program information and address student needs.
