Sylvania is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Social Worker for General Education to provide direct social-emotional support and collaborate with MTSS teams. The role emphasizes partnerships with families, staff, and community stakeholders to promote student success.

The position involves working with multidisciplinary teams on FBAs, 504 evaluations, and intervention planning, with a focus on positive behavior, resilience, and ongoing professional development. In-person attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Certification as a School Social Worker or Counselor.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work as an effective team member with parents, teachers, and administrators.
