Job summary

Management & Training Corporation is seeking a qualified administrator to oversee career counseling, residential living, and department coordination at the Hawaii Job Corps Center in Makawao, HI. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and ensuring compliance with government directives across housing and related programs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree with several years of related experience, including supervisory experience, strong communication, and a commitment to youth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience; 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with youth and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency required and flexibility with work schedule.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage administrative and programmatic activities of the department.
• Hire, train, and coach staff within the department.
• Establish and implement training programs for employees and students regarding safety, security, residential living, and recreation departments.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
• Direct program changes; evaluate programs for new students and staff.
• Ensure records for the shift and dormitories are maintained up to date. Monitor timeliness and quality of student case note entries in CIS.

What you will be doing:
