MTC operates the Hawaii Job Corps Center in Makawao, HI, and seeks personnel to support career counselors, recreation coordination, residential living, and dormitory management. The role requires a bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Applicants should have experience with youth, strong written and verbal communication, and computer proficiency. Flexible scheduling, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety are essential.

• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• Flexibility with work schedule is a must.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the department.
• Hire, train, and coach staff within the department.
• Establish, and implement training programs for employees and students regarding safety & security, residential living, and recreation departments.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
• Direct program changes; evaluate programs for new students and staff.
• Ensure records for the shift and dormitories are maintained up to date. Monitor timeliness and quality of student case note entries in CIS.

Schedule - Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday - Friday

What you will be doing:

You'll be responsible for a variety of functions related to career counselors, recreation coordinator, residential living including dormitory management, and secretary in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions:
