Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Hawaii Job Corps Center in Waimanalo, HI, and seeks a dedicated professional to coordinate and implement the career preparation period program for new students, in alignment with directives.

This full-time role involves developing and delivering career preparation lessons, recommending training programs, coordinating arrival activities, and supporting student employability nationwide in the center’s community.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years related experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, unless waived by management (to drive a 7 passengers van).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and implement the career preparation period program for new students, in compliance with government and management directives.
• Develop, prepare, and deliver career preparation lessons; use a variety of teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.
• Recommend an appropriate training program for each assigned student, using background files, personal interviews, tests, and a variety of other assessment tools.
• Conduct pre-arrival contacts with potential enrollees; prepare and mail pre-arrival and safe arrival letters on a timely basis, coordinate arrival activities with other center departments.
• Participate in student employability programs and activities.

Wage :$46,000 annually

Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday
