Job description

Concept Arts is seeking a passionate, energetic, and proactive creative thinker for the role of Copywriter within its Social Media department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to deliver strategic, thoughtful content and have extensive knowledge of the evolving social media landscape, backed by a solid writing background to support top-tier social media campaigns in collaboration with clients. The role requires adaptability to firm deadlines, quick turnarounds, and fluctuating workloads, with the ability to thrive confidently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Translate concepts into effective messages by writing clear, persuasive original copy.
  2. Draft ideas for presentations, proposals, marketing plans, and various formats and mediums.
  3. Create scripts, case studies, and other content types.
  4. Collaborate with graphic designers to develop decks emphasizing ideas and visuals.
  5. Contribute strategic and conceptual thinking to integrated campaigns across traditional, experiential, digital, and social media channels, including packaging and products.
  6. Ideate creatively for all social media campaigns.
  7. Develop a deep understanding of clients’ properties to produce supportive and impactful creative content.
  8. Research industry and social media trends, stories, and news to generate innovative concepts that align with campaign strategies.
  9. Analyze insights and demographics to craft resonant creative concepts for target audiences.
  10. Participate in briefs, brainstorms, team meetings, and client-facing presentations.
  11. Revise or redevelop creative work based on feedback from the creative director, team, or clients.
Skills Required
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of strategy, content, and audience interaction.
  2. Ability to manage high-priority, long-term projects alongside short-term deadlines.
  3. Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok) and their application to achieve brand goals.
  4. Ability to anticipate client needs and expectations.
  5. Stay updated with popular culture, trends, and best practices in social and digital media.
  6. Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  7. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

This is a hybrid role based in the Los Angeles time zone.
