Job description

Concept Arts is looking for a passionate, energetic, relentlessly curious, and proactive creative thinker to fulfill the position of Copywriter within its Social Media department. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide thoughtful, strategic thinking, extensive knowledge of the ever-evolving social media landscape, and a solid background in writing to support best-in-class social media campaigns in partnership with clients. The role requires handling firm deadlines, quick turnaround times, and fluctuating workloads with confidence and grace.

Responsibilities
  1. Translate concepts into effective messages by writing clear, persuasive original copy.
  2. Create ideas for presentations, proposals, marketing plans, and various formats and mediums.
  3. Write copy for scripts, case studies, and other materials.
  4. Collaborate with graphic designers to produce decks emphasizing ideas and visuals.
  5. Contribute strategic, conceptual thinking to the creation of integrated campaigns across traditional, experiential, digital, social media, packaging, and products.
  6. Generate creative ideas for social media campaigns.
  7. Develop a working knowledge of clients’ properties to produce supportive and strengthening creative content.
  8. Research industry and social media trends, interesting stories, and news related to clients to generate innovative concepts that contribute to campaign success.
  9. Analyze insights and demographics to understand the target audience and create resonant content.
  10. Participate in briefs, brainstorms, team meetings, and client presentations.
  11. Revise or redevelop creative work based on feedback from the creative director, account team, or clients.
Skills Required
  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills, understanding the interaction between strategy, content, and audience.
  2. Ability to balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines.
  3. Strategic thinking with a strong grasp of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok) and their application to achieve brand goals.
  4. Ability to anticipate client needs and expectations.
  5. Stay updated with popular culture, trends, and best practices in social and digital media.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

This is a hybrid role based in the Los Angeles time zone.
