Who You Are

A Senior Copywriter combines exceptional conceptual skills with effective communication. You collaborate with art directors and team members to create persuasive concepts aligned with brand strategy, client guidelines, and industry regulations across various media including print, collateral, video, social media, and digital.

Essential functions include:

1. Writing

• Draft content outlines and organize content, seeking internal and client approval as part of the content development process.
• Collaborate early and often with medical and strategy teams to ensure clinical accuracy and support brand objectives.

1. Concept

• Work with art directors to develop compelling creative concepts.
• Research competitive campaigns to ensure differentiation.
• Meet with senior art directors for critique and focus.

1. Presenting

• Present work confidently to internal teams and clients.

1. Team Interaction/Management

• Articulate brand story and strategy effectively.

1. Product and Content Knowledge

• Maintain full knowledge of assigned products, competition, and market dynamics.
• Explain disease mechanisms, product functions, and brand stories, including key competitors.

1. Strategy

• Focus on details while understanding broader client objectives, target audiences, milestones, competitive landscape, and performance metrics.

1. Business Development

• Contribute conceptual content and strategy for new business pitches.

1. Creative and Agency Leadership

• Seek to understand agency processes and departmental functions.

Qualifications

Minimum Required:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, or related science.
• 5+ years relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or pharma.

Compensation is estimated between $78,000 - $100,000 USD, considering skills, experience, and location. Benefits include bonuses, health insurance, retirement, and paid leave.
