Role Description

The copywriter is responsible for creating original written content across various commercial mediums. As part of the creative team, the copywriter supports the design team in campaign development and crafts clear, compelling messages tailored to the target audience. This is a part-time role, requiring 10-20 hours per week. Social copywriting experience is essential; experience with Food & Beverage clients is a plus. Please share your portfolio when applying.

  • Ensure quality control for printed and digital copy
  • Review client materials for consistency, tense accuracy, flow, and coherence
  • Incorporate client edits effectively
  • Resolve queries with clients
  • Correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors
  • Proofread final copies
  • Format citations, references, and footnotes per style guides
  • Provide feedback on content effectiveness
  • Collaborate with designers to meet brand standards
  • Adapt messages to suit different media for maximum impact
  • Build strong interdepartmental relationships
  • Understand client needs, target audience, and marketing strategies
  • Learn about client products/services, competitors, and market positioning
  • Work with creative teams to develop concepts and ideas
