Job summary

Acorns is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the voice of financial wellness on social media. The role is remote-first with optional Irvine office access and reports to the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing.

You will create original, engaging content, script and shoot videos, manage calendars, and grow Acorns’ social presence across major platforms. You will own the brand voice, stay ahead of trends, and collaborate with creators while analyzing performance to inform future campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years creating content and managing social channels.
• Portfolio of social-first content showing on-camera work.
• End-to-end creator skills from concept to publish.

Responsibilities

• Create original social content for Acorns and Acorns Early across platforms.
• Lead social strategy aligned to marketing and business goals.
• Own content calendar and manage external creators as needed.
• Oversee community management and respond with empathy and clarity.
• Grow organic channels and report on performance to optimize campaigns.
