Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a proactive Group Sales Manager – Social & Affinity Markets for Boston Marriott Newton. You will develop and manage group business across social, military, educational, religious, nonprofit, cultural, and affinity markets, building relationships and converting opportunities.

Collaborate with Revenue Management, Catering, Event Management and hotel operations to ensure profitable, seamless events and outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hotel sales or related B2B sales experience preferred.
• A four-year college degree in hospitality management, marketing, business or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit and develop new group business across social, educational, religious, military, fraternal, nonprofit, cultural and affinity markets.
• Build relationships with meeting planners and decision makers; manage pipeline, forecasting and account development plans.
