Job summary

NHS Scotland, Highland Health and Social Care Services, seeks a compassionate team member to provide activities, engagement and cognitive stimulation for residents in a residential care setting.

This post is responsible for providing essential activities/exercise, engagement and cognitive stimulation for our residents.

As part of the care team you will help with activities of daily living and also to support care staff to meet the needs of older people in a residential care setting, as required by legislation.

Applicants should have an interest in working with the older adult age group, be motivated to engage with the residents in daily activities and to offer meaningful, individually planned activities which meet the needs of all residents.

Driving license is desirable for this post.

Successful candidate will be expected to undertake any relevant training.
