Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a motivated domestic cleaner to join the Ross Memorial Hospital Domestic Services Department. The role focuses on cleaning in wards, clinics, treatment rooms, offices and public areas to uphold Infection Prevention & Control standards.

Uniform and PPE are supplied, with access to a workplace pension and generous holiday entitlement. The post is 16 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 16:45–20:00 and Friday 17:00–20:00. Experience is preferred but full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience desirable; full training will be provided.
• Be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude to your work.
• You will need to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
• This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for this role.

The hours for this post are 16hrs per week to be worked Monday – Thursday 1645-2000 & 1700-2000 on Friday.

Previous experience desirable although full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
