Reports to: Elizabeth Ganzhorn, Director/Owner of Soccer Shots Northwestern Virginia

Soccer Shots: Soccer Shots is a fast-growing, intro-to-soccer program offered throughout the Northwestern VA territory. It serves children aged 2 to 8 years through partnerships with private childcare centers and public park programs.

Objective of the Position: To provide coaching, administrative, and marketing support to the owner and to help identify and implement new programs.

Position Description: The Assistant Program Coordinator joins a dedicated leadership team focused on delivering excellent community programs and services. Job Responsibilities:

1. Coaching and Staff Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and manage instructors; maintain instructor schedules; handle cancellations and reschedules; manage staff files; lead instructor meetings; assist with internship programs; coach 10-20 sessions weekly.
2. Marketing and Communications: Conduct seasonal marketing activities, distribute promotional materials, manage social media, communicate with parents and partners, write newsletters, represent Soccer Shots at events, organize special events, and handle press releases.
3. Administration: Schedule seasons, prepare promotional materials, organize registration, and maintain equipment and inventory.
4. Sales and Growth: Achieve enrollment and revenue goals, develop new partnerships and programs, seek sponsorships, and promote the program actively.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds; excellent vision; exposure to indoor/outdoor sports environments; physical activity during sessions; work hours of 8-10 hours, including evenings and weekends during busy seasons.

This is a part-time position requiring at least 20 hours per week, with additional hours during peak seasons.
