Job summary

The Salvation Army's Ironbound Soccer Club is seeking an energized Club Operations & Administrative Coordinator who will coach travel teams and manage on-field operations and administrative duties. The role blends field coaching with organizing schedules, registrations, communications, and event logistics to keep programs aligned with developmental standards.

Qualifications

• US Soccer Federation coaching qualification is required.
• Previous youth soccer coaching experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to learn and manage club registration, communication, and scheduling platforms.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and selected holidays based on the club calendar.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to player safety, safeguarding, professionalism, and youth development.
• Must understand and support The Salvation Army’s mission as a church and a social services organization.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Responsibilities: Serve as the head coach of assigned travel teams; Plan and deliver organized, age-appropriate training; Coach league, tournament, and showcase games; Complete player evaluations and development plans; Maintain communication with players and families; Attend coaching education sessions; Implement club development standards; Create a positive development-focused team environment; Maintain attendance and participation records; Support player movement between teams as directed.
