Job summary

The Salvation Army’s Ironbound Soccer Club seeks an enthusiastic Club Operations & Administrative Coordinator to balance on-field coaching with essential operations and administrative work. You will engage players, families, coaches, and partners to uphold high standards and ensure program success.

Hybrid role requiring strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage schedules, registrations, and events across seasons. Newark area familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum United States Soccer Federation coaching qualification.
• Previous youth soccer coaching experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to The Salvation Army’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Serve as head coach of assigned travel teams.
• Plan and deliver organized, age-appropriate training sessions.
• Coordinate field usage and facility updates.
• Assist with tournament, camp, clinic, and event logistics.
• Support game-day operations and staff coordination.
• Maintain attendance, records, and player development plans.
• Assist with player registration, rostering, and eligibility processes.
• Collaborate with club leadership and external partners.
