Job summary

GemPharmatech is seeking a scientifically fluent, relationship-driven sales professional to join our Business Development & Sales team in Southern California, focusing on the San Diego and La Jolla market. This hybrid role develops new business, grows existing accounts, and coordinates with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions to researchers and organizations.

You will connect customers with GemPharmatech products and services, advocate for in vivo research, and build relationships

Qualifications

Experience selling to biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations.
Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build trusted relationships.
Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (≈25%+).

Responsibilities

Develop new business and expand relationships within Southern California biopharma accounts (San Diego/La Jolla).
Present GemPharmatech GEMMs, model solutions, breeding capabilities, and preclinical services to stakeholders.
Build durable institution-level relationships across the life-sciences community.
Drive territory revenue growth through account development and opportunity management.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support engagements and opportunities.
