Job summary

GemPharmatech, LTD is seeking a scientifically fluent, relationship-driven Regional Sales & Business Development Manager for the Northern CA Region. This home-based role focuses on driving new business and expanding existing accounts in the San Francisco Bay area biotech and pharma market.

You will articulate the value of genetically engineered mouse models and preclinical services to researchers and decision-makers.

Qualifications

PhD in life sciences required.
3–5+ years of life-science sales or business development experience.
Experience selling preclinical pharmacology, in vivo research, or CRO services is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of genetically engineered mouse models and their use in biomedical research is preferred.
Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and navigate complex sales cycles.
Strong scientific communication and presentation skills for researchers and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Develop new business and expand relationships within Northern California biotechnology and pharmaceutical accounts.
Present GemPharmatech's mouse models, custom model solutions, and preclinical services to stakeholders.
Build durable institutional relationships across the life-sciences community and drive revenue growth.
Coordinate with R&D, product management, marketing, and operations to support engagements.
Travel domestically and internationally as required (approx. 25%+).
Represent GemPharmatech at conferences and industry events and provide market intelligence.
