Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Transportation Growth Lead to drive the Southern California expansion, based in Los Angeles or Orange County. This senior role will shape strategy, collaborate across offices, and leverage AECOM’s global expertise to deliver environmental solutions.

You will grow the environmental planning practice across transit, highways, rail, aviation and active transportation, mentor mid-level staff, and build a robust pipeline with key clients and contracting

Qualifications

BS degree required in environmental planning or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience leading environmental planning projects.
US citizenship required and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Grow environmental planning business in LA/Orange region and identify key clients and opportunities.
Collaborate with regional teams to align client contracts and growth strategies.
Build out senior practitioners across transit, highways, rail, aviation, and active transportation.
Lead cross-BL pursuits and coordinate proposal development and staffing.
Provide contract management oversight for transportation environmental programs.
