Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Transportation Growth Lead to drive expansion of the environmental planning portfolio in Southern California, based in Los Angeles or Orange County. This senior role collaborates across offices to grow key client relationships and win work in transit, highways, rail and active transportation.

The position offers a hybrid work model in Southern California and requires a strategic leader who can shape growth plans, coordinate cross-office efforts, and deliver

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Transportation Planning, or similar.
• 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in leading environmental planning projects for California and Federal transportation agencies.
• A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Environmental Transportation Planning Business in Southern California by developing a strategic growth plan and leveraging client opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior staff to understand current clients and create engagement and growth strategies.
• Mentor and build out senior practitioners in transportation markets to support projects.
• Lead cross-business line pursuits and ensure coordinated proposal development and project execution.
