Terraphase Engineering Inc. seeks a Business Development Leader to drive growth of our Environmental Services practice across Southern California. The role balances business development, project leadership, and technical excellence to expand client relationships and shape long-term regional growth.

The candidate will lead strategic pursuits, collaborate with technical leaders, and help build high-performing teams while delivering value to clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related technical discipline.
• At least 15+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience.
• Proven success in growing client relationships and repeat business.
• Ability to lead major pursuits and win complex projects.
• Strong understanding of Southern California regulatory agencies and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for Southern California environmental services.
• Lead capture planning, proposals, and client presentations for complex opportunities.
• Mentor project managers and technical staff across offices.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with public and private sector stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and ongoing client satisfaction throughout engagements.
