Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc in Chandler, AZ, seeks a SoC Verification Manager to lead a 20+ engineer team, guiding UVM and Formal verification for 32-bit MCU products. You will own verification strategy end-to-end from test plan to tape-out across multiple MCU projects.

You will advance architectures, coordinate with Architecture, RTL, DSP and Physical Design, and push automation with Python/Perl and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with strong digital design fundamentals.
• 12+ years in SoC Verification with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven tape-out experience for 32-bit MCUs and peripherals.
• Experience verifying SoCs with ARM Cortex-M and proprietary architectures.
• Expert in SystemVerilog/UVM and Formal Verification tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end verification strategy from test plan to tape-out for multiple MCU projects.
• Lead and develop a global team of 20+ verification engineers; manage resources and career growth.
• Define scalable, reusable testbench architectures for simulation (UVM) and formal flows.
• Drive Formal Verification, Power-Aware Verification (UPF/CPF), and hardware-software co-verification.
