Job summary

Epic is seeking a Security Operations Technician for the Hosting SOC to secure Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and push for long‑term process improvements to prevent recurrence.

You will stay ahead of emerging threats and help implement new information security solutions. The role requires relocation to the Madison, WI area and offers relocation assistance as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise security controls and monitoring
• Experience with log collection, correlation, and incident triage
• Awareness of common security certifications is a plus
• Scripting with PowerShell is helpful
• Experience with AD/Access management a plus

Responsibilities

• Identify security events in the environment and coordinate investigation and response across multiple teams
• Propose and implement long-term process improvements for security operations
• Stay current on emerging threats and adjust defenses accordingly
• Follow policies and escalate incidents when required
• Support confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting
