Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Intern to support the Third Party Attestation practice in preparing SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity, HITRUST, ISO, and related attestations. You will document internal controls, test and review processes, and help draft reports under supervision.

You will work with engagement teams across various industries, applying your accounting or information systems studies and communicating findings effectively. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent is required.
• Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree program is required.
• Focus in Accounting or Information Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Testing and documenting internal control systems in a variety of industries.
• Participating in the review of internal controls.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and recommendations associated with work performed.
• Preparing work papers in accordance with BDO policy.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with engagement team and client personnel.
• Applying educational background to work performed.
