Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Associate in Third Party Attestation in Atlanta, GA. You will prepare third-party attestation reports including SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity, HITRUST, and other standards, documenting and testing control systems and internal controls.

The role focuses on applying professional standards, performing control testing, developing audit evidence, and communicating findings to client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting with MIS minor preferred.
• One or more years of IT, internal or external audit experience required.
• Experience with SOC, WebTrust, HITRUST, SOX, ISO 27001 and security/privacy engagements preferred.
• Knowledge of internal controls and professional standards (SOC, ISO, HITRUST, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of policies and regulations to improve client controls.
• Document and validate operating effectiveness of client internal controls.
• Test and document business and IT processes and service organization controls.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and communicate improvements.
• Ensure technology is integrated into the examination process.
