Ampere is hiring a SoC Power Management Architect in Santa Clara, CA. You will support and contribute to SoC-level power management architecture, translating product requirements into SoC and IP specifications, and collaborating with global teams to meet power, performance, and energy-efficiency targets.

You will drive end-to-end power management efforts, support HW/SW/FW trade-offs, and engage with product and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, data-driven solutions that balance power

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical/computer engineering or CS with 5 years of related experience, MS with 3 years, or PhD with 0 years.

Responsibilities

• Translate product power/performance goals into actionable SoC/IP requirements under senior guidance.
• Help drive SoC and subsystem power management architecture with product PM architects.
• Collaborate with IP teams to expand energy-efficient features using data-driven analysis.
• Contribute to HW/SW/FW trade-offs to deliver feasible, verifiable power solutions.
• Support architectural direction and reviews to progress on the power management roadmap.
• Partner with firmware developers to ensure HW–SW co-design aligns with intent.
