Job summary

Prosegur is seeking a SOC Operator for a premier corporate campus in San Jose, CA. The role monitors security systems, responds to alarms, manages badge requests, and coordinates emergency response on site.

Shifts are Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. The position requires a California Security Guard License, a high school diploma, and experience in SOC or command-center environments; familiarity with Milestone CCTV and AMAG Symmetry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires valid California Security Guard License and high school diploma.
• Experience in a Security Operations Center or command center is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Milestone CCTV and AMAG Symmetry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor video management, alarm panels, and access control in real time.
• Process badge requests and manage credentials and permissions.
• Respond promptly to alarms and electronic alerts; coordinate emergency response on site.
• Log incidents and communications using standard tools and platforms.
• Dispatch security personnel and support escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with site leadership to maintain operational continuity.

SOC Operator – San Jose Full-Time | $24.95/hour

Prosegur Security is seeking a highly skilled, tech-savvy SOC Operator for a premier corporate campus in San Jose, CA. This role monitors critical security systems, responds to automated alarms, manages badge requests, and coordinates emergency response across the site.

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor video management systems, alarm panels, and access control platforms in real time.
• Process badge and access requests, track credentials, and manage system access permissions.
• Respond with urgency and professionalism to system alarms, electronic alerts, and incoming emergency calls.
• Track and manage security notifications via Outlook and MS Teams; log incidents using Excel and logging tools.
• Dispatch officers to incidents, initiate escalation procedures, and support emergency response protocols.
• Collaborate with site leadership and field security personnel to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

• Valid California Security Guard License (Required).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (Required).
• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or command center environment strongly preferred.
• Hands-on familiarity with Milestone CCTV systems and AMAG Symmetry access control systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams), computers, and smartphones.
• Strong verbal/written communication, problem-solving abilities, and calm composure under stress.
• Dependable attendance, professional appearance, and ability to work independently.
