Job summary

Allied Universal in San Mateo, CA is seeking a SOC Operator and Security Officer - Full Time Operator Patrol at a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership regarding observations and policy concerns.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. As SOC Operator, you will coordinate with Security Professionals on‑site for incidents or emergencies. Interact with employee and client. Escalate any property damage on site to the proper channels. Communicate via phone, email and in person with various stake-holders. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security‑related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $24.05 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related observations, incidents, and policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
