Job summary

Brink's Global Services U.S., a division of Brink's Incorporated, seeks a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead monitoring, detection, investigation, and incident response efforts. The role oversees day-to-day SOC operations and a team of security specialists across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement of SOC processes, develop metrics and reporting, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements while managing staffing and schedules

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a security operations control room.
• Minimum of three or more (3+) years' experience leading security operations or SOC teams.
• Strong communication and ability to develop training materials and SOPs.
• Experience developing SOC metrics and executive reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day SOC operations and oversight.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing, scheduling, and performance.
• Coach and develop SOC Specialists/Operators; administer performance actions.
• Oversee staffing coverage for day/night shifts and absences.
• Maintain SOC knowledge management system and SOPs.
• Develop and optimize SOC processes and operational metrics.
• Own quality control for SOC systems, reports, and deliverables.
• Maintain situational awareness of events, incidents, and threats across locations.
• Ensure SOC practices align with regulatory requirements.
