Job summary

StratasCorp in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Security Operations Center Lead to oversee daily SOC operations, cybersecurity monitoring, incident coordination, and ongoing maturation of SOC playbooks and processes. The role acts as the primary operations lead and mentors analysts and incident handlers to ensure consistent response.

Candidates should have five years of related full‑time experience and a relevant Bachelor's degree; an active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of directly related experience required.
• Experience in SOC operations, monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day SOC activities including monitoring, triage, investigation, escalation, and incident response.
• Oversee analyst shifts and provide mentorship and professional development.
• Develop and maintain SOC playbooks, procedures, and reporting.
• Coordinate with MNOC leads and government stakeholders to protect systems and data.
