Revolutional, LLC is seeking a SOC Engineer to engineer, deploy, maintain, and improve cybersecurity tools for a federal SOC across on-prem and cloud environments. You will build detections, analytics, dashboards, and automation while translating security needs into technical designs.

The successful candidate will work weekday core hours, with possible evening or weekend shifts for incidents. Requires 3+ years in the field, and a Public Trust clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining SOC technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, and network sensors.
• Experience developing engineering documentation, including designs, test plans, and configuration records.
• Experience with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and security hardening practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement cybersecurity solutions for a SOC in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Build and tune detections, analytics, dashboards, and automation.
• Document engineering work clearly for operations and change control.
• Interface with stakeholders to translate security requirements into technical designs.
• Develop mitigations in response to security incidents and evolving threats.
• Support SOC tool integration, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with client policies, standards, and security requirements.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation and configuration records.
